Computer Systems Management Applications (CSMA) Major/Minor Requirements
This curriculum, as the name implies, is more applications-oriented than
is the computer science major. It emphasizes the needs of capable new
technology users, rather than developers, across virtually every field of
employment. Accordingly, while approximately half of the required
courses are the same as in the computer science major (particularly at the
introductory level), students in the computer systems management applications
major have a somewhat broader range of choice in selecting their courses as
they progress. The intent is to enable them to tailor their programs to
current workplace demands and long-term career objectives.
This program is offered at both the Rose Hill and Lincoln Center campuses.
